JAN 15: "THEY GOTTA MOVE AND MOVE NOW"


CNN reporting on the slow aid response and the increasing calls for security before aid can go into Port-Au-Prince and the surrounding areas. Lt. General Honore who led the military response in New Orleans says "they gotta move and move now". He said saving lives trumps concerns over security.

"Just because these people are poor, doesn't mean they are dangerous." Retired Lt. General Honore discussing the slow response of aid due to fears for security. Comparing how he sees the same views happening towards Haiti with how relief agencies were approaching the people of New Orleans. From CNN on Jan 15 01.
