JAN 15: "A NEEDLESS DEATH"

CNN reports on the passing of 11-year-old Anika Saint-Louis who survived for 48 hours after the earthquake in a collapsed building but died from lack of necessary care for her injuries.

"This just brings home how serious the situation is. How difficult the medical conditions are for people. Something that back home in the US, an injury that could be perhaps treatable, here it's a life or death matter." said CNN's Ivan Watson.
